Topshop Lip Stick in Powder Room - £7
I originally headed over to the Topshop makeup counter with the intention of purchasing Coy, a Lip Stick which has done the rounds of most of the beauty blogs recently, and rightly so, as its a beautiful coral-orange shade which seems to really suit every skin tone. However after seeing Powder Room sat next to it, I couldnt resist opting for this instead, as it seemed to be the elusive perfect pretty shade of pink which I am forever searching for.
The colour hasnt showed up too accurately on my camera, its actually much less neon-like than in the photos and is infact more yellow toned, verging on a little peachy, yet still bright and baby pink. I'm wearing it in my most recent OOTD post which might be a little bit more accurate. The formula of these Lip Sticks is kinda weird, but I think I do like them! Straight after use they seem rich and creamy, but once rested on the lips for a little while the formula turns kind of chalky, and is quite unforgiving on any dryness on the lips. It also has really great staying power, I tend to find with lipsticks that the colour gathers a little at the edges after I've been chatting away, but Powder Room stays in place really well.
I'm definitely going to have another look at the Topshop Lip Sticks and maybe pick up another one if it catches my eye, every shade is really pretty! I am really loving Topshop makeup at the moment, its really great quality and definitely worth the affordable price tag.
