sunday girl

HEI GUIZ! This is a little snapshot from just before I went out into Canary Wharf with my housemates on Friday night. It was a really fun night and I spent a grand total of £6, but I always feel a bit out of place in the bars there, surrounded by middle aged men in suits while I'm in a jumper, shorts and loafers. A lot of the men are pretty slimey aswell but luckily my housemates and I have a successful wing-woman system on the go which saves the day. Had an absolute mare the morning after though realising I've lost my Oyster! I feel like one of my limbs has been pulled off. I'm pretty gutted cause I've had the same Oyster since my first day of moving to London nearly three years ago so it had a bit of sentiment behind it, aswell as twenty quid credit. Such a doofus.

Anyone who follows me on Twitter will have seen that I finally bit the skincare bullet and bought myself a Clarisonic Mia which I've wanted for aaaages. My skin is absolutely awful at the moment, I'm blaming it on a bit of a change of lifestyle seeing as I'm trying to be generally healthier, but I'm hoping the Clarisonic will sort me right out. I managed to get it for quite a discounted price of £79 in the end from Amazon by ordering it from an American seller. I will definitely make sure to review it when I've used it for a little while. The other exciting purchase I made was finally getting my business cards sorted out seeing as I have a few events coming up in the next couple of months. They arrived yesterday morning from Moo and I absolutely LOVE them, I'll probably do a little post on them soon cause they're just really cute.

Seeing as Im a complete football widow today, Im planning on staying in bed and catching up on blogs, perfect Sunday! Finally dont forget to enter my new giveaway where you could win an Alexa style satchel :)

  1. Aww, losing your Oyster is literally one of the worst things that can happen to you when you're living in London, you have my full sympathy :(
I always feel out of place in Canary Wharf, to be honest, which is pretty bad considering I live about 10 mins from it when I'm in London!
I've been umming and ahing over getting the Clarisonic for ages, but I get so worried about making that kind of investment over something I don't know the effectiveness of, so I'll definitely be keeping an eye out for your review :) xx

  6. You looked lovely! And I've had the same Oyster card ever since I first came to London, 10 years ago! I can't imagine what would happen if I lost it. I'd be devastated!

  7. I lost my oyster once a while back which had quite a bit of money on it and found out about 6 months after that you can order a new one and somehow claim the money you had on it back - so do that!!!! i was really gutted when I found that out so long after I had lost mine! xxx

  9. Aw, sorry you lost your Oyster card :( I wish we had those here, they are so much more convenient for transitting. And can't wait for your review on the Mia... I've been eyeing it too.
