Product Review: Burt's Bees New Range

Last week I was lucky enough to win this trio of Burt's Bees products in a giveaway on London Beauty Queen, and spent the weekend eagerly awaiting my package of goodies. I was really excited to try these brand new products from Burt's Bees, as I was already a massive fan of their Beeswax Lip Balm, which I religiously apply every morning and night. I swear by it! It's got a tingly sensation which you can really feel working on your lips (Im not sure what it does but whatever it is, its great for softening.)
NB Please ignore my shabby nails! I'm just about to paint them.

I used each of these products in my morning shower today so that I could give a little review of each, and I have to say I'm really pleased with all of them! The first one I had a go with was the Mango and Orange Energizing Body Bar, which is basically a soap. I thought it was really cute as I took it out the package, with the little bumble bee engraved in the middle. I did feel that it really softened my skin, and was great to use on places I can never be bothered to properly exfoliate like my tummy. Initially I wasnt overly keen on the smell, which is quite orange-citrusy, as I tend to prefer softer vanilla smells in the shower, but after I'd used it alongside the other products, I really warmed to it's refreshing side.

Second, I had a go with the Mango and Orange Sugar Scrub, which claims to 'to leave you soft, radiant and ready to take on the day, even if the sun’s not up yet.' This is probably my favourite of the three products. When I first dunked my fingers in, I was a bit grossed out by the very odd texture of the product. I'm used to using Soap & Glory's Breakfast Scrub which is slightly drier than this. This scrub is much more of a jelly texture which I wasnt expecting, but once I'd got into the swing of using it, I loved it! My skin does feel better than usual today! This also smells delish :)

Finally I finished my shower off with the Mango and Orange Body Butter! I found this to be a much more pleasant texture than the Body Shop Body Butters, as its slightly less stodgy and more of a cream. Smells amazing, does the job its supposed to, what more can I say! I'm sold.

I'll definitely be re-purchasing the Body Butter and the Sugar Scrub, although next time I might try a different flavour, maybe the Honey and Shea?
